Uwimana wanted to capture her birthday and bond with her daughter in a special way. We had a consultation and devised a plan - from wardrobe, to location, make up and creative team, we handled it all and delivered her a memory she can treasure forever.

Curmiah couldn't travel to the motherland (Ghana to be precise) without grounding herself on the land. With her daughter on the way, drawing her closer to her African roots, she couldn't leave Ghana without building a creative network.

The conception of our LAKAY creative writing & performance series. During the pandemic we ran an online workshop series for anyone feeling displaced or grappling with the concept of home and belonging. We equipped them with some poetic, creative writing and performance tools along the way.
